A new Altered Art Barbie for Swap-Bot. She covered in cheese cloth dyed with copper fabric paint and copper stars. Hair is done with modpodge and copper glitter glue.
I LOVE the altered Barbie dolls. They are awesome and I love the message they portray! I have two step-daughters who are 8 and 5. I am seeing them all ready try to fit into certain feminine roles.
I also love the quote, about every child being an artist.
This is such a fascinating hobby! I always hated Barbies as a little girl, but I bet I could get into them this way. I love what your info says about leaving them around for children to find - nothing brightens a kid's day like finding a surprise! Great projects, keep it up!
